FORECAST, WAXING SQUARE MOON, NOV 8 TO NOV 15 2024
Ok lets give each other a fist bump for the majority of us getting through that last week with no unusual explosive escalations of violence even as our collective shadow side rears up to challenge our hopes and exacerbate our fears. That first Pluto-Mars opposition, though technically in play until April, was scary for sure. Now we get to see how the plutonic things (hidden and repressed parts of ourselves, fears, greed, lust for power and control, death and rebirth processes, etc) that were set in motion last week get to play out over the next 6 months and beyond. Things are changing in the world and the wheel is always in spin. PLUTO is on the brink of moving into innovative, humanitarian and individualistic Aquarius this month to reveal and transform our shadow side of that archetype for the next 20 years.
This week of the WAXING SQUARE MOON starts off with few long lasting exact aspects giving this time a transitional feel, a sense of flux with other shoes poised to drop. Perhaps it can be a little space to breathe before plunging into the FULL MOON coming on the 15th, though there is certainly tension in the field and plenty of uncertainty about the future that can be fucking with our equanimity.
We still have the activating and conflictual square holding between “fuck it, lets go!” MARS and “keeper of the hearth fires” JUNO perhaps bringing some compulsive action or reactions in our committed relationships; romantic, business, national and family, this month. This continues all week and can be a good thing if it brings the necessary courage to change what needs changing and not just heated arguments about it. We’ll also be experiencing LILITH Rx moving retrograde late on the 8th. Having been conjunct JUNO once already on the 4th, It will swing back to conjunct it for a second time by the 13th. LILITH represents the irrational in the alchemical sense. It says “fuck you, I won’t do what ya told me! and tends to drop some creative chaos into any rigid or authoritarian cultural system, as relationships and internal politics can be, which are JUNO’s bailiwick. As difficult and potentially destructive to experience and work with as this may be, (think of the current politics we are all coping with) it can also initiate a time of growth and re-creation. The path of wisdom and alchemy is to fashion chaos into Art, to draw something new from the irrational and chaotic aspects of reality that is beautiful and inspiring. It is happening with or without our agency. In the best case, we are being given an opportunity to redraw the lines that define our relationships and domestic structures, both intimate and in the broadest sense. If we are not part of the solution, we may very well be part of the problem.
Aiding this wisdom and alchemy to all involve our collective healing through whatever sagacity we can gather is the ongoing sextile between JUPITER Rx and CHIRON Rx. This has been flavoring the mundane readings since September and isn’t done until early next month. JUPITER enlarges and gives confidence to all it touches and CHIRON represents not only our core wounds but also the wisdom to heal or integrate them. Yeah, no kidding, our collective and personal shits been up to be dealt with lately. The retrogrades give this even more of a remedial nature. This sextile, positive though it may be in the long run, will be challenging. Particularly this week when the SUN moves into a brief but awkward quincunx with both JUPITER and CHIRON, also called a Yod aspect pattern, on the 11th. Expect possible glitches about then which will reveal the plot elements of the healing process we are perpetually in if we look for it.
VENUS is moving through a square to NEPTUNE Rx this week. Our Venusian energies of love relationship, beauty and harmony are likely experiencing a strong feeling of uncertainty and flux this week. Potentially, some inspired solutions for the tensions we are experiencing can be found in the Neptunian ambiguity and fog bailiwick. Try not to panic and chase after mirages of over simple conceptions of your own creation. Trust it will all come clearer in time as the real choice point is going to be manifest next week when VENUS in practical Capricorn comes square the karmic MOON’S NODES on the 16th after transiting out of mutable Sagittarius on the 10th.
On the 12th MERCURY is exactly square SATURN Rx which is almost stopped in the sky poised to turn direct on the 15th of this month. Opportunities for rational conversation and making practical plans or experiences of delays and obstacles to the same. Squares are a hassle to navigate because they can polarize either way, making us have to dig deep for it to be a positive transit and accommodate whatever compelling situation arises.
Finally, a few days and up to the FULL MOON, VENUS is moving through a sextile to the conjunction of LILITH and JUNO with an interfering quincunx to MARS, again firmly pointing this towards our relationships and values, matters of the heart, as the subject. The sextile flows but the square and quincunx make it challenging to make the right move. Just stay loose with any conclusions until at least next week if you can when its squares the MOON’S NODES. Looking ahead, VENUS has more in store for us come the end of the month and the first week of December.
